Students of the MSc Biology or MSc EEC can take the specialized lectures as part of the MSc module "Theoretical Ecology", which focuses on ecological data science. For details, see below.?

External participants (i.e. from other universities or research institutes) that want to take part in our courses (in particular online courses) need a gues account at the UR?to be able to enroll in courses and get access to the material that we provide via GRIPS. To get a gues account, please follow these two steps
- Check here if your university or institution is included in the list that can directly create a guest account. If you can get a guest account, create one.
- If you can't create a gues account, please contact the course instructor via email. You will then get a password which you an use to create a guest account here.
After having received your guest account, you can enroll to the courses via GRIPS. The GRIPS link is provided after each course in the list above.?
BSc Projektpraktikum oder Forschungspraktikum
BSc Forschungspraktika und Projektpraktika k?nnen grunds?tzlich nach Absprache jederzeit absolviert werden, allerdings werden die meisten TeilnemerInnen als Teil des Praktikums zumindest den Intro R Kurs besuchen müssen (n?chster Punkt), was einen gewissen zeitlichen Rahmen absteckt. Bitte vor Anmeldung für Projektpraktika bei Elisabeth Brunner eine kurze Anfrage an Florian Hartig.
Wichtig: Voraussetzung für ein Praktikum bei uns in der Gruppe sind Grundkenntnisse der Statistik und die F?higkeit, eigenst?ndig mit dem Computer zu arbeiten (bei statistischen Aufgaben typischerweise in R, für Programmieraufgaben in C/C++ oder Python). Um solche Grundkenntnisse zu erlangen k?men z.B. in Frage:
- Mindestens eine Grundvorlesung in Statistik, z.B. BSc Vorlesung Statistik und Bioinformatik
