We welcomed Prof. Dr Sven Spieckermann, CEO of Simplan AG, for an insightful guest lecture on 25 June 2024.
Prof. Dr. Spieckermann gave an exciting lecture that provided insights into discrete-event simulation, digital twins and Industry 4.0. The students on the "Simulation of Production Systems" course learned interesting facts about various use cases, the associated software, basic concepts, and the market for discrete-event simulation.
The lecture stimulated lively discussions and gave us a better understanding of these future technologies. A big thank you to Prof Dr Spieckermann for sharing his expertise and to all participants for making this guest lecture a complete success!
