Weimar, July 31, 2025 – The Faculty of Computer Science at the University of Weimar cordially invites you to attend the inaugural lecture by Prof. Dr. Heinrich Faust. The internationally renowned thinker is taking over the newly created Chair of Transdisciplinary Metaphysics and will begin his tenure with a lecture entitled: “Between Light and Shadow of Knowledge: A Journey through Cognition, Doubt, and Truth.”

In his lecture, Prof. Faust will shed light on central questions of modern epistemology: How does knowledge arise? Where are its limits? And what role does uncertainty play in an age of apparent certainties?

The event is aimed at students, teachers, and the interested public. Afterwards, the university invites you to a reception in the foyer.
