News: Research stay at the University of Cambridge (DD4SC)

As part of the joint research project "Data Donation and Digital Nudges for Sustainable Behaviour Change (DD4SC)" with the support of international expert Prof. Dr Lucia Reisch, members of the Chair visited the El-Erian Institute at the University of Cambridge for a week. The project investigates how users can voluntarily donate their data for research purposes in order to promote sustainable behavioural change.

Philipp Hartl (UR) and Leonie Manzke (FAU) completed a short research stay during the visit, which served to promote intensive team and interdisciplinary exchange with the researchers at the El-Erian Institute. The close collaboration provided valuable insights into different methodological approaches and promoted networking between the project partners.

Parallel to the research stay, Prof. Dr. Daniel Schnurr (UR) and Prof. Dr. Verena Tiefenbeck (FAU) took part in the first Behavioural Roundtable of the semester, which was attended by over 30 participants from the Centre for Science and Policy at the University of Cambridge and other institutions.

We would like to thank the hosts at the El-Erian Institute of the University of Cambridge for the excellent organisation and productive collaboration within the DD4SC project as well as Dr. Malte Dewies for the excellent moderation of the Behavioural Roundtable.
