On July 16, six high school students visited the university to gain an initial insight into everyday student life and, in particular, into studying computer science. The aim was to spark interest, provide guidance, and alleviate any uncertainties about studying – without any expectation of prior knowledge or firm study plans. Curiosity, motivation, and a certain interest in mathematics were all that was needed.
A special highlight of the day was attending a lecture on databases, which gave the participants an authentic impression of what studying computer science is like.
We would like to express our sincere thanks to Krones AG for sponsoring the event.
We hope that we were able to give the participants valuable inspiration for their future paths – and we look forward to perhaps seeing them again as students!
