Research Interests
Interests
My research concentrates on theory, simulation models, statistical methods and data science / AI in ecology, evolution and conservation.
Examples of recent activities include the development of statistical software (e.g. the R packages DHARMa (externer Link, ?ffnet neues Fenster) and BayesianTools (externer Link, ?ffnet neues Fenster)), model-data integration of dynamic vegetation models (e.g. Hartig et al., 2012), statistical applications and method comparisons (see publication list), and coexistence theory.
