The course provides an overview of various prescriptive techniques for data-driven design and control of intelligent production systems, including:
- Robust Optimization
- Stochastic Dynamic Programming
- Reinforcement Learning
Students will implement the methods in case studies in the context of Industry 4.0 and use them to support decision-making in production systems.
