The chair covers both areas, but focusses on logistics. The teaching programme deals with the design of logistics systems in the Bachelor's and Master's degree courses. This is done consistently on the basis of systems theory. The educational objective, system design, is supplemented by lectures and intensive case study-based exercises on software applications in logistics, logistics controlling and specific questions of decision support in logistics. The programme is international and multilingual in terms of both content and delivery. In addition, external lecturers from the world of logistics and controlling are involved in each semester.
