Training at the computer centre
We have been successfully training IT specialists (m/f/d) for years.

Our IT apprenticeships at the RZ
The Computer Center (CC) is the central IT service provider for the University of Regensburg. We not only support research and teaching at the University of Regensburg with our extensive IT expertise, but also offer apprenticeships every year.
With us, you won't find a one-size-fits-all apprenticeship, but a comprehensive and practice-orientated vocational training programme that promotes your individual strengths and interests and allows you to experience the fascination of IT.
During your three-year apprenticeship, you will familiarise yourself with various areas of activity, e.g:
- IT purchasing
- IT support
- Web development
- Client administration
- Network administration
- E-mail & user administration
- IT Security
- Server
Depending on which apprenticeship you pursue, you will have a specific specialisation.

15 girls with great enthusiasm at Girls' Day 2025 at the CC
On Thursday, 3 April 2025, 15 young schoolgirls from the region came to the Computer Center to immerse themselves in the profession of IT specialist for a day.
The CC had put together a varied programme:
Under the guidance of the trainees, the motivated participants learnt about different levels of the online game "angry bird" - and gained their first experience of programming in a fun way.
