We explore how people engage with information. From search engines to recommender systems to chatbots and beyond, we investigate a wide range of information systems, using technical, quantitative, and qualitative approaches.
Our philosophy: practice-oriented research and research-led teaching. Our research delivers socially relevant solutions—and we bring it directly into the classroom to our students, letting them help shape developments in information science with us.
