Doing Area Studies in the Polycentric ConditionCrossArea 2023 Conference

DIMAS and the Leibniz ScienceCampus Europe and America in the Modern World, a joint project of the UR and the Leibniz Institute of East and Southeast European Studies (IOS), are pleased to invite you to the CrossArea Conference 2023 in Regensburg
Under the title "Doing Area Studies in the Polycentric Condition", the conference will take place on 16 and 17 November at the Altes Finanzamt, Landshuter Str. 4, 93047 Regensburg.

On 16 November, Regensburg Area Studies projects will be presented. The start is planned for 13:45. Projects will take place.
On 17 November, young female scientists will present their research. There will also be a discussion organised by the NFID4Memory consortium (external link, opens in a new window) on the future of archives in the digital age and a presentation of the Weltwissen project from Leipzig.
The conference will be accompanied by a photo exhibition by artist and researcher Barbara Wimmer-Bulin (external link, opens in a new window).
