Winter Semester, Summer Semester or a Whole Exchange Year?
The decision as to whether you come to Regensburg for the winter semester, summer semester or a whole year certainly depends on many factors. However, if you have the opportunity, we recommend that you stay for a whole year. Experience has shown that the personal, linguistic and academic progress made during a year-long stay is significantly greater.
Overview Exchange Stay at the University of Regensburg

Arrival:
- Beginning of September for participation in the intensive German language course or
- Beginning of October for participation in the orientation course
Lecture period:
Approx. mid-October - mid-February
Examinations:
Mid-February
Please note: However, some examinations, e.g. in the Faculty of Business, Economics and Real Estate, may take place until mid-March
Departure:
End of February or end of March
