University Entrance Qualification with foreign certificates (external link, opens in a new window)

International applicants require a so-called "direct HZB" to be able to study in Germany. In some cases, they acquire this qualification upon graduation from secondary school; in other cases, years of study in the home country must still be proven.

Please refer to the database of the Standing Conference of the Ministers of Education and Cultural Affairs (anabin) for information on your country-specific application requirements.

Which degree program suits you?

The degree program tool will help you find the right subject for you. With the help of several filter functions, you can discover all subject areas and read through the descriptions of the degree programs.

Counselling at the International Office

If you have any questions about your HZB, application documents or German language certificate, the Degree Student Team advisors can help you. You can find all contact details here
