German courses are offered for international PhD students, postdocs and visiting researchers and their partners covering online courses (Zoom + GRIPS) for level A1.1. and A1.2

Courses for higher German levels
At levels A2 to C2, international PhD students, postdocs and visiting researchers and their partnes can attend the "study-accompanying German language courses" at the Center for Language and Communication (ZSK) if there is free capacity.
Registration
Registration for the German courses at the University of Regensburg
The registration deadline will be announced in the course catalogue in SPUR for the respective courses. Registration for the winter semester 2025/26 will take place between October 1 and October 9, 2025 in SPUR.
PhD students registered with the Registrar's Office can register with their student account.
Researchers without a student account at the University of Regensburg first need to register in the SPUR portal.
